We were very happy with the price when compared to location, the Mariott Vacation Club is very ideally located for a quick visit like ours. A host of midtown's most famous locations are within a 15-20 minute including Empire State Building, Times Square, Grand Central and Penn station (where we travelled in and out from), with places like Rockefeller Centre and Radio City another few minutes beyond that. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, we managed to get into our room earlier than check in time, and they gladly stored our bags after check out for a few hours which allowed us to explore the city more before we left. Our room was clean, and that goes for any other area of the hotel we accessed too. We didn't avail of the breakfast or restaurant so I can't comment to that, but it looked like a nice space, wish I had more time to properly try it out. There was a nice rooftop bar that was closed on the days we were there, but we were still able to access to relax and enjoy the view. They seemed to have a decent fitness centre too but we didn't have a chance to use it due to our short stay. In summary we would happily return to Mariott Vacation Club!

Great stay from the time we checked in until the time we checked out.We especially had a good experience with the staff in the Twisted Knot Cafe Lounge and the bar tender at the Top of the Strand Rooftop bar. The bar tender, Oscar, was professional yet fun. Although it's April and the weather was rainy and cold, the rooftop bar was still enjoyable. It was covered, so we were able to stay dry and warm but still enjoy the beautiful view of the Empire State Building. The Twisted Knot offers different activities such as complimentary wine tastings and board games. We had the opportunity to enjoy one of the wine tasting sessions. The atmosphere was cozy, clean, and relaxing. It has a fireplace that was needed since it was cold and damp outside. The hotel is conveniently located near major NY sites. We used Uber, but we also easily walked to get dinner one night. We booked a king room, not very big, just typical size for a NY hotel. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

-Location was great! - ALL staff were very friendly and helpful, I have never stayed anywhere where the level of service is so consistent. Particular mention to the repairs team who came immediately in the night on two occasions when we had reported issues - the soundproofing was great, the room doors are very close together so we were concerned about noise but we did not hear our neighbours throughout our stay apart from entering/leaving their rooms - room was always cleaned to a good standard - concierge was very knowledgeable - AC worked very well - fridge available to store any snacks or drinks - Full length mirror

This hotel was so perfect for our trip to New York. The room was a great size and we had the most incredible view of the Empire State Building and a gorgeous New York street. The staff were so friendly and really welcoming every day. The room was cleaned so nicely every day. The extras like the rooftop bar, the daily tours on offer, and even the candy shop in the cafe were such lovely touches and made the hotel feel very special. The bed was so comfy. There wasn’t a thing we didn’t like, we will definitely stay here again when we’re back in New York. Jess, Ireland

Good hotel in a great location. We asked for a city view and could see Empire State Building! Cafes for breakfast within walking distance. We walked from Penn Station to hotel with our luggage, was easy to find and took about 15 mins. Can walk/subway to wherever you want to be. Most staff were very helpful and friendly. Everywhere was very clean and cleaners were super helpful for anything needed. Due to the weather we did not get to use the roof top bar.
